P.S.   Less than 10 minutes away is Telluride Regional Airport, with flights to Phoenix and Denver.  The larger airport in Montrose (MTJ) is about 65 miles.   You can drive from Denver, or Phoenix, in 7 hours or so, and Albuquerque, NM (ABQ) is even closer -- about a 5.5 hour drive.   Other airport options:  Grand Junction (120 miles), or Durango (100 miles), or Cortez (75 miles), or Farmington, NM (135 miles).
